March / April 2009...

Welcome back! I hope you all had a lovely Easter Break, ate loads of chocolates and are raring to go for our fun packed Summer term ahead!

Exams - Congratulations to all of you who took your I.D.T.A medal tests back in March, You all looked immaculate and danced beautifully which reflected in your results as we achieved 100% pass rate! So a big well done to you all :-)

A party night is currently in the process of being organised. I will keep you up dated when a date and location has been finalised. Our next set of medal tests will be held in October.

NEW Slow Class! - I am pleased to announce that starting this term there will be a new SLOW class taking place every Friday after competitive class for all ages. As you will be able to see on the timetable that champ class will now be taking place on a Thursday night instead. The slow class will be combined with technique work and the routines choreographed can be adapted into Slow solos for competitions. I am really looking forward to starting this class and hope many of you will attend :-)

Workshop - I am please to announce that Sunday 19th April there will be a SLOW workshop, taking place at the Rox School of Dance and Drama, 1.00pm until 2.30pm. Please make sure dance wear is worn, bring a bottle of water and get ready to work hard....

All of our workshops so far this year have been a great success and I am thrilled with how many of you participate.

Private Lessons - As we are all aware we have Selsey coming up in June and my private lesson list is getting filled up quickly. May I suggest that if you wish to have private lessons before Selsey then please book now!

A squad day will also take place nearer the time on a Sunday which we have off from competitions. I will confirm a date very soon.

Good Luck/ Congratulations - A huge congratulations to Lauren Thomas who has made her first west end debut this week in the musical 'Billy Elliot'. We are all so proud of you Lauren and you have proved that with hard work and determination dreams really do come true. Enjoy this magical experience and from myself and everybody else here at Premier, we wish you all the luck in the world.
